Today, we are proud to introduce SmartHoldem Cosmic Sandbox - a decentralized, procedural 3D universe where every on-chain action shapes a unique world. We built it entirely with open-source web technologies, zero backend, and pure cryptographic DNA. This is not just a visualizer; it’s a new way to experience the blockchain.

At SmartHoldem, our team of engineers and designers asked a different question: What if your wallet wasn’t just a string of characters, but a living, breathing planet?

🧬 The Core Concept: Address = DNA

The magic of Cosmic Sandbox starts with determinism. In a decentralized world, trust comes from reproducibility. We didn’t want a centralized database where we manually assign “cool planets” to whales. We wanted math to decide.

Every SmartHoldem address (starting with S…) is hashed using SHA-256. This generates a unique 32-byte “DNA” sequence. From these bytes, we extract everything that defines a world:

• Biome: Volcanic Magma, Glacial Ice, Desert Sandstone, Forest Terra, or Cyber-Grid.

• Terrain: The amplitude and frequency of mountains, craters, and oceans using FBm OpenSimplex2 noise.

• Atmosphere: Cloud density, ring tilt, and ocean color.

This means that if you enter the same address on any device, anywhere in the world, you will see the exact same planet. Bit-for-bit. No servers, no manipulation. Just pure cryptography meeting WebGL.

🐗 Meet Veipr: The Biomechanical Boar

A static planet is beautiful, but a living world is engaging. That’s why we introduced Veipr - biomechanical boars that inhabit every planet.

• Population: Determined by transaction activity (1–3 boars per world).

• Alpha-Veipr: Holders with >100k STH get an armored, cyber-enhanced Alpha-Veipr with mechanical fangs derived from their wallet’s DNA bytes.

Why TresJS? Because TresJS offers a declarative approach that feels native to Vue. Instead of managing a complex renderer.render() loops manually, our scene becomes part of the reactive component tree. Tags like <TresPerspectiveCamera> and <TresAmbientLight> allow us to treat 3D objects as HTML elements.

The Tech Stack:

• Frontend: Vue 3 + Vite + TypeScript + TailwindCSS.

• 3D Engine: TresJS (Declarative Three.js) + Three.js.

• Procedural Gen: fastnoise-lite for high-performance noise generation.

• State Management: Pinia.

• Blockchain Interaction: Direct fetch calls to public SmartHoldem nodes (node1.smartholdem.io). Zero backend proxy.

One of the biggest technical challenges was integrating Three.js with Vue’s reactivity system. Wrapping a THREE.Scene in a Vue ref() causes deep-proxy issues that break shaders. The solution? Using markRaw() and shallowRef() to tell Vue: "Don't touch this object, it’s mine." This simple pattern saved us days of debugging and ensured buttery-smooth performance.

SmartHoldem Strategic Pivot: From Dual-Chain to a Quantum-Resistant Decentralized Data Center

Why we consolidated our power into the high-speed DPoS blockchain and abandoned the Chia fork to build a truly free, scalable, and secure P2P Internet.

The Power of Focus

In blockchain development, complexity is the enemy of security. Earlier, our roadmap included an ambitious plan to merge two distinct consensus mechanisms: our native, high-speed DPoS (Delegated Proof-of-Stake) and a secondary PoSt (Proof-of-Space-and-Time) network based on a Chia fork. The idea was to offer "Double Farming" - forging in DPoS and farming on HDDs.

However, after a thorough technical audit and strategic review, we made a decisive choice. We realized that splitting resources between two chains would dilute our security, complicate the implementation of quantum resistance, and create unnecessary inflationary pressure.

Today, we announce a major strategic shift: SmartHoldem is canceling the Chia fork. Instead, we are focusing 100% of our engineering power on upgrading our existing, robust DPoS blockchain to serve as the backbone of a global, decentralized data center.

We are not building a new chain. We are supercharging the one that already works.

1. Why We Left the Chia Fork Behind

The original plan had a logical flaw in the context of long-term sustainability:

• Inflation vs. Deflation: The PoSt fork would have required its own tokenomics or complex bridging, potentially introducing inflationary pressures. In contrast, our main DPoS network has completely stopped emissions. No new STH coins are being created. This makes STH a scarce, deflationary asset.
   
• The Quantum Threat: Implementing post-quantum cryptography is a massive engineering challenge. Doing it for two separate blockchains would double the risk and delay security updates. By focusing on a single DPoS chain, we can deploy our Quantum Shield more quickly and effectively.
   
• Useless Storage vs. Useful Data: Chia’s model relies on storing "digital waste" (plots). We believe storage should be useful. By pivoting to a P2P data layer atop DPoS, we turn idle HDDs into a Decentralized Data Center that hosts real apps, mail, and code.

2. The New Architecture: DPoS + P2P Data Layer

SmartHoldem is now evolving into a hybrid powerhouse:

• Layer 1: The DPoS Core. A proven, high-speed, zero-emission blockchain. It handles transactions and identity with millisecond finality. It is already live, stable, and ready for mass adoption.
• Layer 2: The SmartNet P2P Grid. A decentralized storage and communication network built on Rust, Hyperswarm, and Noise Protocol. This layer handles heavy data (files, streams, databases) without clogging the main blockchain.

How it works together:

You don’t farm "noise." You host useful data (encrypted clouds, dApps, private mail). The proof of this storage is anchored to the main DPoS chain. Rewards are paid in STH - the only token in the ecosystem. Since no new STH is emitted, these rewards come from transaction fees and service usage, creating a sustainable, deflationary economy.

Shor's algorithm on a sufficiently powerful quantum computer could break ECDSA (elliptic curves) - the mathematical foundation on which wallets and transactions for most blockchains, including SmartHoldem, are built today.

We aren't waiting for a hypothetical "Day X." The integration of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) into the SmartHoldem ecosystem has already begun. Below is a detailed breakdown of our roadmap for the post-quantum era.

 1. What is the main vulnerability of modern networks?

Blockchain cryptography relies on one-way functions: it's easy to generate a public key from a private one, but practically impossible to reverse on classical computers. Quantum algorithms break this paradigm. If a malicious actor gains access to a sufficiently powerful quantum stack, the key generation mechanism becomes "transparent." Under these conditions, even a strong passphrase won't save you, as the vulnerability lies in the mathematical basis itself, not in user data.

2. The Arsenal: Which algorithms are we choosing?

Developing cryptography from scratch is an unjustified risk without years of independent audit. SmartHoldem is aligning with finalists from the NIST standardization competition and time-tested schemes:

We are ruling out abrupt hard forks and forced migrations. The transition will be gradual and seamless:
Stage 1: Hybrid Signatures
Transactions will be signed simultaneously with classic ECDSA and a new PQC algorithm (e.g., Dilithium). Even if one method is compromised, the other will maintain protection.
Stage 2: Updating STH-Core
Since the SmartHoldem node is written in TypeScript/Node.js, we will integrate optimized PQC libraries in Rust or C++ via node-addon-api. This maintains the high throughput of the DPoS network without sacrificing cryptographic strength.
Stage 3: Quantum Addresses
Introduction of a new address type with extended public keys resistant to quantum analysis. Users will be able to gradually transfer funds to "Quantum-Safe" wallets.

 4. Killer Feature: Hybrid Quantum Shield via Second Signature

Unlike many networks where users would have to create new wallets and mass-transfer assets, SmartHoldem leverages a unique architectural feature — the second signature mechanism.

How it works:
- An address in SmartHoldem is formed as a hash of the first public key.
- When the second signature is activated, a second public key is recorded on the blockchain.
- We replace the generation of this second key from ECDSA with a post-quantum algorithm.

Result: You do not need to change your wallet. When you activate the second passphrase, the system automatically applies a "post-quantum lock" to your account. Your address remains the same, your coins stay exactly where they have been for years, but now they are protected by a second cryptographic layer. Even if a quantum computer computes your first private key, it cannot send a transaction without a valid second (quantum-resistant) signature. The SmartHoldem node will simply reject the attempt.

 For users on a single signature: You will need to either activate a second signature (which instantly enables quantum protection) or transfer funds to the new address types once they are released.

5. Technical Nuances & Network Protection

- Delegates under protection: In a DPoS network, delegates sign blocks. Forging their signatures threatens the entire blockchain's integrity. Implementing PQC at the protocol level makes SmartHoldem a "digital fortress" resistant to consensus spoofing.
- Transaction size: Hash-based schemes (Lamport/SPHINCS+) generate signatures sized in kilobytes. Node logic will be adapted to correctly process "heavy" transactions without losing sync speed.
- OTS Optimization: To avoid bloating the blockchain, one-time keys will be aggregated into Merkle trees. For the user, this looks like a familiar wallet, but at the mathematical level, each key is used strictly once and invalidated after signing.

We are already preparing the infrastructure for the new verification layer. Here's a glimpse of how the integration will look in the core:

Quantum supremacy is not the end of cryptography, but its next evolutionary stage. 

SmartHoldem isn't adapting retroactively. We are laying the foundation for the future today. We are choosing mathematics that cannot be "solved" by brute force and integrating it directly into the core of our DPoS network.

❓The next question is from a user named @web5D: SmartHoldem claims support for up to 5.5 billion transactions per day - what real-world use cases does this level of throughput unlock?

TechnoL0g: We don't just "claim" it. We proved it during a public stress test involving our community. You can read more on the Smartholdem forum. 

Use Cases: This enables Real-Time GameFi, which requires thousands of micro-transactions per second at lower fees. It also forms the base for high-frequency trading and IoT.

This power is needed for one more specific goal: Provably Fair Gaming in Real Time.

Imagine Poker or an MMORPG where every move, every card dealt, and every action is recorded on the blockchain for transparency. 

On Ethereum, this would cost millions in gas. On SmartHoldem, it costs much less and happens instantly. This unlocks High-Frequency Services, such as our future decentralized VPN and lottery platforms.

❓The next question is from a user named @Brownny57: How exactly does SmartHoldem implement True Random Number Generation (TRNG) on-chain, and what makes your approach more trustworthy and tamper-proof than the common pseudo-RNG or oracle-based solutions used by most other Web3 gaming platforms? 

TechnoL0g: Unlike competitors "black boxes," our TRNG operates entirely on-chain. We use future block hashes in combination with network entropy, which makes the result mathematically unpredictable and verifiable by any user. It is "fair play" built into the protocol and cannot be manipulated.

Our TRNG is not a black box or an external oracle that can be bribed. SmartHoldem TRNG is a native blockchain function. 

We use the hashes of future blocks, combined with network entropy, to produce a result that is mathematically unpredictable and verifiable by any user. As I like to say: "Not even a time traveler will know the result of the hand before the block is generated." 

This is critical for our Poker Room, lotteries, and other DApps. We guarantee mathematically provable fairness, ensuring no one can influence the outcome. Our TRNG is resilient, even against time travelers.

❓The next question is from a user named @Batutg: What is the long-term vision for SmartHoldem nodes? Will they stay purely for network security, or do you see them taking on more roles like hosting game logic or off-chain services? How do I become a SmartHoldem delegate?

TechnoL0g: Thanks for asking such insightful questions about SmartHoldem's future. It's great to hear you're interested in the node ecosystem and becoming a delegate!

To answer your questions: Long-Term Vision for Nodes: You've hit the nail on the head! SmartHoldem nodes are indeed evolving beyond just network security. The vision is to transform them into universal service centers. While the core DPoS nodes (the Top-21 Delegates) will always be necessary for consensus and security, the network is expanding with the upcoming PoSt (Proof of SpaceTime) blockchain.

This means nodes will eventually support additional roles like providing decentralized data storage space and facilitating AI interactions - all through the eco-friendly "farming" of STH on hard drives. The two blockchains (DPoS and PoSt) will work together seamlessly via the SID protocol, enabling direct, secure communication. 

SID (Smart Inter-Chain Data Communication Protocol) will be integrated into the DpoS and PoSt SmartHoldem nodes, enabling blockchains to communicate directly for certain transactions. The SID module ensures that the SmartHoldem STH coin is not duplicated in another blockchain, further enhancing the system's integrity.

Becoming a SmartHoldem delegate and earning STH rewards: The process is designed to be open and democratic. Anyone with a reliable server and a willingness to participate actively in the community can become a delegate. 

Here’s how it works:

Engage with the Community: Active participation is key. Share your delegate proposal, let people know your goals, and contribute to the ecosystem.You'll need to campaign to gather enough votes to climb the rankings.

Aim for the Top 21: While anyone can be a delegate, only the top 21 voted delegates are responsible for creating new blocks and earning STH rewards. The community can vote delegates in or out based on performance, keeping the system fair and decentralized.

Think of SmartHoldem as building a versatile, multi-layered network. DPoS delegates are the pillars of security and governance, while the coming PoSt network adds a powerful layer of decentralized storage and services. All of this will be accessible through a unified wallet for a smooth user experience.
 ❓The next question is from a user named @faroumka0: With STH's deflationary model (50% fee burns targeting 100M min supply) already burning over 92K tokens, what new burn mechanisms or emission halving events are planned, and how will this impact long-term holders?

TechnoL0g: The mechanism for burning 50% of the commission is the main one. For STH holders, this means one thing: your percentage ownership of the network economy grows automatically. Coin burning is nonlinear. I call it the economy's breath.

The burn occurs when a transaction is sent at the node level. This does not affect the user's balance and is invisible to them. For network validators, at first glance, they receive a smaller fee due to the burn, but as the asset's value increases, that fee becomes more valuable.

Deflationary model with limited emission: 

The deflationary model will reduce the total supply of the SmartHoldem STH cryptocurrency and determine the circulating supply: Min 100M – Max 150M STH. When the supply reaches 100M, the burn will stop. If network activity pushes it up to 150M, the 50% fee burn protocol is reactivated. This creates a "breathing" economy where the token becomes a scarce asset as the popularity of our games and services grows. 

❓The next question is from a user named @JM_500: No KYC. No Rake on Blockchain Poker is revolutionary. How does SmartHoldem guarantee the long-term economic sustainability of the poker platform if no commission (rake) is charged, and what mechanism does the protocol use to cover the network's operating costs without relying on these fees?

Europa: Thanks for such a thoughtful and insightful question. You’ve really hit on the heart of what makes Blockchain Poker Club so revolutionary - it’s exciting to talk about! You’re absolutely right: no KYC and no traditional rake does sound almost too good to be true in the poker world. Therefore, Blockchain Poker Club is a Royal flush! How Operating Costs Are Covered: Instead of taking a percentage of the pot (the rake), the protocol uses a minimal, fixed blockchain fee of just 1 STH (which equals 1 chip) charged from the bank each hand. Smartholder Staking is also available for long-term STH holders. It's essentially a rewards program for holding STH. Users receive 50% of all trading fees earned by the exchange. How Does a Picture Turn into a Secret Container?

1. Pixel Magic: Any digital image consists of thousands or millions of tiny dots called pixels. The color of each pixel is described by a set of three numbers: R (red), G (green), and B (blue). Sometimes a fourth, A (alpha channel), is added for transparency. Each of these numbers has a value from 0 to 255.

2. The Secret in the Last Bit: In the binary system, the number 255 looks like 11111111. The rightmost bit in this chain is our "least significant bit" (LSB). Changing it—for example, from 11111111 (255) to 11111110 (254)—is so negligible that the human eye simply won't notice the color difference. The pixel remains virtually the same!

3. The "Embedding" Process: We take your secret text and convert it into a sequence of zeros and ones (bits).
To let the recipient know where the message ends, we first write its length into the picture (the first 32 bits are used for this).
Then, our algorithm carefully, one by one, replaces the least significant bit in each color component (R, G, B, A) of each pixel with a bit from your message. This process continues until the entire message is "dissolved" into the image. In the end, you get a regular PNG picture that doesn't arouse suspicion but holds your secret. We use the PNG format because it doesn't compress images with loss, keeping our hidden data intact.

It is a Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator (CSPRNG), ensuring that the initial entropy for your key is of high quality and unpredictable.

Industry-Standard Cryptography:  The address and key pair are derived from the mnemonic phrase using the official @smartholdem/crypto library. This library implements the same robust and widely-trusted secp256k1 elliptic curve cryptography that secures major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

No Data Persistence: All sensitive data exists only in memory and console output. This tool does not save or transmit any data. The generated address and its corresponding secret mnemonic phrase are only displayed in your console. You are in complete control, and it is your responsibility to store the secret phrase in a secure place. 

Multi-Language Documentation Support: The project includes comprehensive documentation in five languages to support international users.

Part 1 — Introduction and questions from the host

Q1: So can you tell us about SmartHoldem?  We’re keen to understand its key features, its unique value proposition, and how it differentiates itself in the crypto space.

SmartHoldem STH is a cryptocurrency and blockchain-based platform allowing anyone to create high-performance Web3 games. The SmartHoldem blockchain can process over 5,000,000,000 transactions daily, making it an excellent solution for the gaming industry.

The network Layer 1 runs on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) BFT consensus mechanism. The balance between transaction processing speed, dynamic fees, security, and decentralization provides the necessary scalability for the effective development of the SmartHoldem platform by growing demand. The network can quickly scale by x10 or x1000.

SmartHoldem is reducing the crypto industry's reliance on Smart Contracts by using new types of transactions, TRNG service, ZKP (Zero-Knowledge Proof) functions, and popular programming languages.

SmartHoldem aims to revolutionize the gaming industry with its blockchain-based provably fair gaming technology. The SmartHoldem platform offers transparent, decentralized, and provably fair tools for game developers and the iGaming sector. With the SmartHoldem blockchain, developers can create multiplayer Web3 games, decentralized applications (Dapps), and various services.

SmartHoldem Provably Fair technologies guarantee a level playing field for everyone. Most importantly, the result was and will be completely random and free from human intervention, central authority, or third parties.

Q2: Could you provide us with a detailed breakdown of SmartHoldem? We’re interested in understanding the distribution and allocation of tokens, including any details on supply, vesting schedules, and how the tokens are utilized within the ecosystem.

To answer your question, I need to tell you how the platform's history began.

SmartHoldem was founded in late 2017 and raised $170k in Bitcoin and other cryptos through an initial distribution. The distribution was overseen by the reputable Escrows of the BitcoinTalk forum, who were selected by members of the SmartHoldem community. All funds raised were held by Escrow and were paid out as the roadmap items were completed. During the initial distribution, 83% of the total STH supply was allocated to SmartHoldem ICO participants, 8% to advisors and angels, 3% to Bounty campaign participants, and 6% was reserved in the Dev fund.

SmartHoldem launched its Mainnet on December 14, 2017, with 240M SmartHoldem STH coins created at Genesis.

The SmartHoldem blockchain was updated to version 2.0 in August 2023. After two years of dedicated development, our team has successfully launched the innovative SmartHoldem gaming blockchain. SmartHoldem 2.0 is a next-generation open-source hybrid blockchain platform based on the world's first consensus mechanism with a unique combination of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Proof of SpaceTime (PoSt) algorithms.

After the global update 2.0 of the platform infrastructure, SmartHoldem has transitioned from an Inflationary model with limited emission to a Deflationary model with limited emission.

Emission in DPoS SmartHoldem L1 has been completely stopped. The deflationary model will reduce the total supply of the SmartHoldem STH cryptocurrency and determine the circulating supply: Min 100,000,000 STH - Max 150,000,000 STH. The SmartHoldem DPoS network has a deflationary mechanism that burns 50% of blockchain fees.
When the total supply is reduced to 100,000,000 STH, the DPoS network will stop burning 50% of the fees. Once the total supply reaches 150,000,000 STH on the DPoS blockchain, the 50% fee burn protocol will be activated. So, the STH value increases, and supply decreases.

Q3: Have you partnered with any central exchanges for SmartHoldem? If so, could you share which exchanges will list the token for purchase?

Delegates play a central role in the public SmartHoldem DpoS Layer l blockchain.
Active delegates are community representatives elected and authorized to sign blocks.

You can become a delegate on the Smartholdem blockchain and earn rewards by supporting the network. DPoS SmartHoldem Blockchain

Smartholdem Layer l blockchain runs on the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) consensus algorithm with Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT). This ensures that blocks are always completed and can never be reverted.

Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) is a blockchain consensus mechanism in which network users vote and select delegates to verify blocks.

SmartHoldem Delegates

According to the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) algorithm, the top 21 delegates check transactions every 8 seconds, create new blocks, maintain the SmartHoldem network, and receive rewards for each signed block.

There can only be 21 active delegates in SmartHoldem DPOS; other registered delegates are on standby. They can replace active delegates who have gone offline and join the top 21 active delegates.

The delegate system is highly competitive because a delegate can move into or out of the top position of the Top 21 at any time. This sustainable scheme allows new delegates to prove themselves, gain the community's attention, and enter the Top 21 anytime if the community votes a new delegate into an active position.

Delegate Rewards

The delegate who signs the block receives ALL NETWORK FEES for the block's transactions. Different transactions have their fees on the Smartholdem blockchain. For example, if a block contains 500 standard transactions, the delegate will earn up to 500 STH. If the block includes no transactions, the delegate will earn nothing for that block. If the block contains a delegate registration transaction, the delegate will earn 10,000 STH.

 Mainnet Timeline
Before the launch of Mainnet, a snapshot of the blockchain will be made, allowing for a soft transfer of account balances from the old network to the SmartHoldem 2.0 network.
On August 27, the SmartHoldem wallet, website and other platform services will be disabled. At the time of the update, you can transfer SmartHoldem STH to your account on the XBTS exchange or do nothing and wait for the blockchain update process to complete.

Once the Mainnet is launched, the block explorer for the new network will be launched, where you can check your accounts. During the first week, a new SmartHoldem Online Wallet will be launched.

Navigating the Transition
On August 29, 2023 SmartHoldem devs with validators will coordinate to effectuate the migration to the new Core.
This is a new blockchain, meaning it will NOT be backward compatible with the old code. Old nodes will NOT be able to communicate with new nodes, as they will be automatically banned.

On July 31 at 18:00 UTC, the SmartHoldem test net stress test took place.
101 people took part in the stress test.

SmartHoldem Testnet has reached a new milestone: 5 529 600 000 operations per day!

The stress test aimed to simulate real-world conditions as closely as possible. Its purpose was to assess the blockchain's capabilities under increased transaction load, to verify the network's security against spam attacks, and to measure the number of transactions processed by the blockchain per second, hour, and day.

Together, we achieved record-breaking results, reflecting hard work, commitment, and determination demonstrated by the SmartHoldem community.

This stress test is extremely important for the network's development. It has helped to assess the stability of a potential SmartHoldem mainnet hard fork and demonstrate the exceptional scalability and efficiency of the SmartHoldem blockchain.

During the stress test, a record was set for processing transactions in the blockchain - 1,000,000 transactions in 30 minutes!

Test network

The test network has 23 nodes. 21 nodes are blockchain validators. Block time 8 seconds. The network fees change dynamically depending on the load and cannot exceed 1 STH.
Currently, the Testnet node's technical specification is 8GB RAM, CPU 2, and 24GB HDD.

One transaction can include multiple payments (transactions L2), this process is called bundling and is a more efficient way to send funds to multiple recipients. For this reason, while the SmartHoldem network comprises blocks of transactions, looking at the number of payments (transactions L2) is the best indicator of overall network activity. Payments are only counted after their transactions are included in a block.

We analyzed different hash rates depending on the transaction load. Below are performance and scalability calculations for the SmartHoldem blockchain

Each stress test participant was given 10,000 test coins. When the balance of coins was used up, receiving additional coins and continuing participation was possible.
No additional specialized software/hardware was required to participate in the stress test.

You do not need any specialized software/hardware to participate in the stress test.

The stress test is as close to natural conditions as possible. It will provide information on the number of operations the network processes per second/hour/day, with 2000 transactions per block.

This stress test is of paramount importance to our network's growth and resilience. It is an opportunity to test the stability of a potential mainnet hard fork and demonstrate the exceptional scalability and efficiency of the blockchain.

• The test network has 23 nodes. 21 nodes work as blockchain validators. Block speed - 6-8 seconds. The blockchain fee changes dynamically depending on the network load and cannot be more than 1 STH.

If the testnet work results are favorable, a decision will be made to implement a hard fork of the main SmartHoldem network.

Tip: A single transaction can include multiple payments, this process is called batching and is a more efficient way to send funds to multiple recipients. For this reason, while the SmartHoldem network is composed of blocks of transactions, looking at the number of payments is the best indicator of overall network activity. Payments are accounted for only once their transactions are included in a block.

Testnet is a testing environment. As such, it may experience instability and short-term downtime due to the experimentation processes. There is nothing to worry about, and we are well-prepared to deal with any issues that may arise.

• Proof of SpaceTime improves the overall security of the blockchain, increases resistance to “51% attacks”, and reduces the carbon footprint of any app deployed on SmartHoldem PoSt.
• Delegated Proof of Stake works with Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT). This ensures that blocks are always completed and can never be returned.

Decentralization
Decentralization is fundamental in the world of blockchain technology.
SmartHoldem DPoS and PoSt blockchains are decentralized so that no single person or group has control—instead, all users collectively retain control. Decentralized blockchains are immutable, which means that the data entered is irreversible. Transactions are permanently recorded and viewable to anyone.

DPoS and PoSt are two consensus mechanisms. DPoS works with elected delegates who validate transactions and secure the network. PoSt is similar to Proof-of-Work (PoW), except PoSt participants contribute disk space instead of computation power to verify cryptographic proofs.

Combine of DPoS and PoSt consensus can offer several benefits:

Firstly, it can enhance the network's security through the unique Proof of SpaceTime (PoSt) consensus mechanism, which requires users to employ unused hard-drive space to coordinate block production and earn rewards. The PoSt network supports an unlimited number of nodes, where each node confirms blocks.

Secondly, in a DPoS network, validators are chosen through a decentralized democratic voting process. Delegates with a strong reputation are more likely to be elected as validators. Users maintain control over the system, meaning they can also remove delegates from Top validators if they work inefficiently.

This combined approach ensures that no single entity can monopolize the decision-making process or manipulate the network.

The integration of DPoS with PoSt can lead to improved scalability. DPoS's fast transaction speeds and ability to handle a large number of transactions can complement PoSt's energy-efficient validation process, enabling the network to process a higher volume of transactions without sacrificing security or decentralization.

SmartHoldem blockchains foster a more inclusive and participatory ecosystem. DPoS allows coin holders to elect delegates, giving them a voice in the network's governance. Combining this with POST consensus, where farmers/miners are directly linked to the ability to validate transactions, can achieve a more equitable distribution of power.

The integration of DPoS and PoSt consensus mechanisms within a single blockchain infrastructure holds great promise for the crypto community. Such integration addresses limitations and creates a more robust and efficient network.

SmartHoldem Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) is a fast, efficient, democratic, and flexible consensus.

SmartHoldem DPoS blockchain will include new types of transactions such as multiple payments, game transactions, multi-signatures, crypto-signatures, second passphrase, burn transactions, registration transactions, IPFS hash transactions, hashed time-lock contract (HTLC), Zero Knowledge Proofs transactions, delegate resignation and copyright registration.

The SmartHoldem DPoS upgrade will reduce the number of validators to 21, increasing the number of transactions per block and the speed of transaction processing. This enables the development of a wide range of apps, from decentralized exchanges to online games.

• The delegate selection system will remain unchanged; the number of nodes isn’t limited. In the SmartHoldem network, the Top 21 Delegates are the main validators, performing transaction confirmation and adding new blocks.
• Delegates can’t change or influence the transaction. Delegating can be compared to a system of democratic elections. Community members vote for the Nodes they want to see in the TOP 21.
• Delegates for each block creation and validation round are selected randomly.
• Any user can become a SmartHoldem delegate and earn rewards by developing, maintaining, and strengthening the network. To achieve this goal, you need to install the Node according to the technical requirements.
