The Web 4.0 Protocol: A Breakthrough for Humanity

Our mission is to enhance the internet by developing the Netfory OS, Web4 infrastructure, and foundational technologies that promote human autonomy.

“Netfory is the operating system of the Decentralized Physical Internet. No central server. No corporate control. Just code, cryptography, and you.”

Web 4.0 mission

Web 4.0 is the Decentralized, Peer-to-Peer Physical Internet.

End of Deplatforming

Chapter I

The End of Deplatforming

In hostile environments, freedom of speech and information distribution are the first rights to be restricted. Centralized platforms can erase voices with a single click.

Web 4.0 changes the default.

Large-scale content removal or blocking operations fail because content is preserved across decentralized networks. Deplatforming is no longer a viable, low-cost tool of control. Freedom of expression shifts from platform tolerance to network resilience.

Reliable messaging, publishing, and social graph infrastructure become the default. Content survives as long as at least one peer holds it. This is the infrastructure of the Decentralized Physical Internet. By removing central points of failure, Netfory makes deplatforming a thing of the past.

Durable Archives

Solving the Long-Term Memory Crisis

How do we preserve journalistic investigations, scientific records, and the documentation of civil society? In Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, a server shutdown means history is erased.

Netfory solves the problem of long-term storage.

Through content-addressable architecture, archives of journalism, science, and civic memory are permanently preserved. As long as the information exists on at least one peer in the network, it cannot be destroyed.

Chapter III

Measuring the Impact

We don't just build technology. We measure its real-world impact on human freedom.

Durable Archives

Volume of journalistic, scientific, and civic memory permanently stored and instantly searchable on content-addressable infrastructure.

DevHub Code Sovereignty

Number of developers publishing uncensorable dApps and repositories directly to the P2P network, free from centralized platform bans.

Web 4.0 Protocol Adoption

The number of websites, dApps, games, and digital books deployed instantly into a censorship-resistant, autonomous decentralized environment.

Adversarial Environment

Number of active users in low-connectivity or heavily censored environments using fault-tolerant tools.

LAN-First Resilience

Chapter IV.5

LAN-First: Survival When the World Goes Dark

In a world of fiber cuts, regional blackouts, and internet isolation, traditional networks fail. Clearnet and IPFS rely on global routing. If the cable is cut, they die.

Netfory is different. It is built with a true LAN-First architecture.

When the global connection drops, Netfory clients don't panic. They automatically switch to local peer discovery via mDNS. Your local network becomes a sovereign island:

  • E2EE Chats continue to work between neighbors or colleagues in the same building or street.

  • File Sharing via CID operates at lightning speed within the local cluster.

  • Cached dApps stay fully functional without a single request to the outside world.

We are not just building an alternative internet. We are building a digital lifeboat that keeps knowledge, communication, and community alive when everything else goes silent.
